Bay Area Festivals has produced nearly 100 festivals, fairs and special events around the greater San Francisco Bay Area since 2009. Our events are held throughout the region from 1-day indoor events for 750 attendees to 3-day outdoor festivals with tens of thousands of people attending. The company produces its own events including Bay Area KidFest, Bay Area Kids’ Book Fairs, Super Holiday Boutiques, Camp & School Fairs, Lamorinda Home Show, Contra Costa Con and more.
We also work with other organizations and agencies helping produce their events, such as San Pablo July 4th Multi-Cultural Family Celebration, 50th Anniversary Concord Jazz Festival, Oakland CatVidFest, Concord Oktoberfest, Pittsburg Seafood & Music Festival, 100 Years Celebration for Tesoro Petroleum’s Golden Eagle Refinery, KNBR Radio’s Big League Dreams Baseball Skills Clinics and Kaiser Permanente Family Wellness Festival.
The health and safety of our exhibitors, sponsors, staff, performers, volunteers and all the families who attend our events is of the upmost importance to us.
As such, we continue to monitor all the public safety issues and directives surrounding the coronavirus.
At this time we are moving ahead with preparations to present these safe, fun-filled 2020 family events.

Bay Area KidFest continues our holiday tradition in Downtown Concord at the 31st annual festival postponed to Labor Day Weekend Sept. 5-7. KidFest was voted Best Family Event or Community Fair/Festival by Bay Area Parents readers in 2019, outpolling 18 other outstanding nominees.

Join us for quality live entertainment, attractions, activities and sports for children to stimulate learning and exploration while presenting parents with new ideas and opportunities from arts & crafts and other exhibitors. KidFest showcases community groups dedicated to families and children while celebrating the value and importance of families as a key part of a healthy community.

All entertainment, attractions and art activities are included in the low price of admission.
The 20 rides and our delicious food courts charge separately from the admission price.

Proceeds from Bay Area KidFest benefit local non-profit health, sports and educational organizations. Since 2010, Bay Area Festivals, Inc. has donated over $85,000 cash to local non-profits from its festivals and events.

KidFest proudly continues for the 25th year as a major annual donor event for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. KidFest attendees have donated over 150,000 pounds of food to the Food Bank.

We’re a place where kids and community come together in an alcohol-free, smokeless environment on a beautiful California weekend.
